We are an information security research group in the Department of Computer Science. We are part of the Helsinki-Aalto Institute for cybersecurity (HAIC) and work closely with the Cryptography group at Aalto University. The group was founded by Prof. N. Asokan and Prof. Tuomas Aura in 2014. It is currently led by Prof. Tuomas Aura, Prof. Janne Lindqvist and Dr. Lachlan Gunn. For recent work done by Prof. N. How to find us:
We are located in the Computer Science building (T-talo) in Otaniemi, Espoo, Finland. Street address: Konemiehentie 2, 02150 Espoo, Finland.
From Helsinki airport: Buy an ABC zone ticket, 4,60 €, from the ticket machine. Take the local train (lähijuna) I or P to the Central Railway Station. Change to the one and only metro line (direction west, towards Tapiola/Matinkylä) and hop off at the Aalto University (12 minutes from the main railway station), take exit B (Tietotie exit) and walk 100 m to the CS-building.
Taxi is a convenient option but relatively expensive from the airport (40-50€). Taxi stands are located outside next to the terminal main doors.
From Helsinki city center: Buy an AB zone ticket, 2,80 €, from the ticket machine. Take the one and only metro line (direction west towards Tapiola/Matinkylä) and hop off at the Aalto University (12 minutes from the main railway station), take exit B (Tietotie exit) and walk 100 m to the CS-building.
